Cy Twombly

The first time I entered the Tate Modern in London, back in 2002, I was winded - stood still for what my heart could see. I entered the room where Pollack's paintings hung, and while amazed, it was the next room that lit me up from the inside out. I have since held Mr. Twombly in the highest regard, and rank him one as one of my favourite artists.
