Ali Newling is Creative Director and Owner of A L I A S, a Sydney-based creative agency, with a client list spanning CHANEL, Dior, Cartier, Chaumet and Paspaley. Shooting her in a more personal setting was a rare chance to capture the grace of the woman behind the work; a sophisticated entrepreneur with a gypsy heart.

My friends, Cat & Andrew graciously allowed 'A Day In The Life' shoot, one warm day in late summer of 2025. Bonded not only through their love of adventure, but both wildly courageous, keen divers and avid hikers, they are also business owners of 'Kiwi Carpentry' - a high-end cabinetry and carpentry business in Kaitaia, Far North of New Zealand. This personal shoot captures their minimalist lifestyle; one steeped in the elements blended with off-grid, rustic living.
